The Augusta Patriots Girl’s Lacrosse Team is part of the Augusta Patriots Lacrosse Club. The Girls Lacrosse team was started in 2016 to create an opportunity for girls, not just boys, to explore the world of lacrosse, as well as, promote higher levels of play year round. We have come a long way since 2016, and with dedicated coaches and players, we now have a large team of committed girls wanting to push their lacrosse skills to the limit. The Augusta Patriots Girls Lacrosse Team has two program subsets, The Rising Stars and the Augusta Patriots Girl’s Tournament Team.
The Rising Stars Program provides girls in primarily in the 1st-7th grade a fun and supportive environment to learn or improve upon rudimentary lacrosse skills. Older girls with little or no lacrosse experience are welcome to join The Rising Stars Team!
The Augusta Patriots Girl’s Tournament Team is for girls in 8th—12th grade who are 100% committed to spending their Summer and
Fall committed to practicing 3-4 times a week and traveling to tournaments multiple times a month. Playing for the Augusta Patriots Girl’s Lacrosse Team is a must for players wanting to explore college lacrosse opportunities. We take players and transform them into elite athletes through faster paced playing, skill perfection, and harder and more intense conditioning standards. The Augusta Patriots Girl’s Tournament Team travels throughout the South to competitive tournaments during the Summer and Fall seasons.
The Augusta Patriots Girl’s Lacrosse Team is raising funds to buy new equipment for both the Rising Stars program, as well as, the Tournament Team along with providing funds to help cut down the costs associated the tournament and hotel fees for the Girl’s Tournament Team. Tournaments typically cost $100/player with hotel stays of two nights costing roughly $200 per tournament. The Tournament Team generally participates in 4 tournaments a year with a total out of pocket cost for Tournament Team players being beyond $1000 per season.
