The UF Hunt Seat Team is a club sport at the University of Florida. We compete in zone 5 region 5 of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, consisting of Florida schools and SCAD. The IHSA is an organization that provides undergraduate students the opportunity to ride and show throughout college. Our team is based at Kimberden farm in Ocala, Florida operated by Coach Kim Burnette. Competitions are hosted by each school in the region, and this year the team will host two horse shows at Kimberden Farm. These shows are organized and directed by the team members and supervised by our coaches and advisors. Each horse show costs roughly $7,000, and all funding comes directly from the members.
This spring, we will be hosting 2 shows, including a regular IHSA home show and IHSA Regional Championships.
