OCC Central Coast are volunteers representing Samaritan’s Purse in San Luis Obispo County, Santa Maria, Orcutt, Los Alamos, Lompoc and Goleta. We promote the project of packing shoe boxes , filling them with gifts of toiletries, school supplies, toys, clothing, personal notes and photos, and prayer. These uniquely packed boxes are transported to individual children, of all faiths, who are victims of disease, natural disaster, poverty, and war, all over the world . The boxes are symbols of hope and give a clear message that God loves them and they are not forgotten. This particular fund-raiser will help raise funds to send our Area Coordinator to a shoebox distribution trip in June of 2016 to Paraguay, she will be able to witness our project in action.
