Detective Kristen Snead Hearne Memorial Foundation was established in the wake of Detective Kristen Snead Hearne being killed in the line of duty. She left behind a broken family, including a young son. Detective Kristen Snead Hearne was known for being a loving and caring mother, as well as a Law Enforcement Officer that demonstrated strong morals. Her younger brother, Patrick, established this foundation in the wake of her death in an effort to carry her legacy forward each and every day. The foundation's goals consist of awarding scholarships to high school seniors who wish to enter into the career field of Law Enforcement. The foundation will also assist the community through addiction recovery sponsorships and an annual Christmas program for underprivileged children in the Polk County community. Your support from this fundraiser will help Detective Kristen Snead Hearne Memorial Foundation fund each of its programs as it seeks to continue the legacy of a devoted Law Enforcement Officer, dedicated mother, and a loving daughter and sister. |
