This summer, I will have the chance to give back to the community that has given the most to me. I have the great pleasure of doing a ministry in the same hometown where I grew up, Wisconsin Dells. While it may seem strange that I have been called to a place I have lived my whole life, this quote really explains why I am doing what I'm doing. "How can we expect to be successful in global missions if we are not even willing to cross the street and help our neighbor?" I believe that God is really going to work through me in restoring, building, and making new relationships through my co-workers and team I will be living with while doing bible studies, street evangelizing, and workshops. Not only that, but the possibility of speaking truth into the lives of international students with whom I have always connected deeply with greatly excites me! Please support me as I begin on this embarkment because the mission does not only start this summer, but right now! |
